MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Core Ethos
The core ethos of Dharma Academy for Workplace Wellbeing is to support business leaders, HR managers, and workplace wellbeing champions in improving engagement, retention, and organisational performance. We do this by making our strategic workplace wellbeing guidance and frameworks accessible through internationally available digital learning resources that support organisations in striving towards high standards of employee wellbeing.
These Terms and Conditions explain how we deliver our services to you. If you are planning to join Dharma Academy for Workplace Wellbeing ("the Membership"), you must read these Terms in full prior to purchasing.
- Key Details
2.1 These Terms apply to all services offered through Dharma Academy for Workplace Wellbeing.
2.2 By purchasing access to the Membership or any related course or resource, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2.3 Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and responsibilities under the law and set out the terms under which we provide our services.
2.4 We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Membership indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Membership Overview
3.1 Dharma Academy for Workplace Wellbeing is an online learning platform that provides training, frameworks, and resources designed to support organisations in improving workplace wellbeing.
3.2 Membership may include access to learning tracks, downloadable resources, live sessions, and a professional community space.
3.3 We reserve the right to modify or update the content, structure, or delivery of the Membership in order to maintain quality and relevance.
- Eligibility
4.1 The Membership is designed for professionals working within organisations, including business leaders, HR professionals, workplace wellbeing champions, and similar roles.
4.2 The Membership is intended for use within a professional or organisational context.
- Membership Components
5.1 Membership offerings may include:
- structured learning track roadmaps
• downloadable frameworks and tools
• live Q&A sessions or masterclasses
• access to a private professional community
5.2 Specific offerings may change over time.
- Individual Licence and Account Use
6.1 Membership access is granted to the individual purchaser only.
6.2 Where an employer pays for a Membership on behalf of an employee, access remains limited to that individual user and does not extend to the wider organisation.
6.3 Accounts must not be shared. Sharing login credentials with colleagues or third parties is strictly prohibited.
6.4 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where misuse, credential sharing, or unauthorised access is suspected.
- Membership Fees and Payment Terms
7.1 Membership fees are set at the time of subscription and include any applicable taxes.
7.2 Payments are processed via Stripe or PayPal and will be charged on the same date each billing cycle.
7.3 Annual subscriptions are for a 12-month period unless otherwise stated.
7.4 We reserve the right to modify pricing or the structure of the Membership with at least 28 days’ notice to members.
- Free Trial, Refunds and Cancellation
8.1 Where offered, the Membership may begin with a free trial period of seven (7) days.
8.2 During the trial period you may explore the platform and cancel at any time before the trial ends without being charged.
8.3 If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid Membership and the applicable membership fee will be charged.
8.4 Following the first paid charge, you may request a refund within fourteen (14) days of the payment date, provided that you have not substantially accessed, downloaded, or completed a significant portion of the Membership content.
8.5 Once substantial access to the Membership content has occurred, refunds will not be granted.
8.6 After the 14-day refund period has expired, membership fees are non-refundable.
8.7 Members may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings. Cancellation will prevent future billing but will not result in a refund of any fees already paid.
- Open Door Model
9.1 At Dharma Academy we maintain an open door approach and welcome feedback from members.
9.2 Members are encouraged to contact us with any questions, concerns, or feedback at learnersupport@dharmawellbeing.academy.
- Content and Session Scheduling
10.1 Membership runs continuously. Training materials, live sessions, and other resources are delivered on an ongoing basis.
10.2 If a scheduled session must be postponed, we will aim to reschedule it as soon as reasonably possible.
- Intellectual Property
11.1 All training materials, frameworks, methodologies, videos, templates, and written resources provided through the Membership remain the intellectual property of Dharma Centre for Workplace Wellbeing.
11.2 Members may use these materials solely for their own professional learning.
11.3 Materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, shared, or used to create internal training programmes without our prior written permission.
- Acceptable Use
12.1 Members agree to use the platform respectfully and in accordance with applicable laws.
12.2 Members must not:
- share login credentials
• upload harmful, unlawful, or offensive content
• attempt to disrupt or misuse the platform
• misrepresent their identity or organisation
12.3 Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of Membership access.
- Confidentiality
13.1 During the Membership you may have access to confidential information shared by other members in community discussions.
13.2 Members agree not to disclose or distribute such information outside the platform.
13.3 Unauthorised disclosure may result in removal from the Membership.
- Privacy and Data Protection
14.1 Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14.2 You are responsible for ensuring that your account details remain accurate and up to date.
14.3 You must keep your login details confidential and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Disclaimer
15.1 The information provided through the Membership is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
15.2 Training materials provided through the Membership do not constitute legal, medical, or psychological advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice.
15.3 Participation in Dharma Academy training does not guarantee regulatory compliance, certification, or specific organisational outcomes.
15.4 Members are encouraged to seek appropriate professional advice where required.
- Limitation of Liability
16.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dharma Centre for Workplace Wellbeing shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or business losses arising from the use of the Membership.
16.2 Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by the member during the six (6) months preceding the claim.
16.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot legally be excluded.
- Force Majeure
17.1 We shall not be liable for failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from events beyond our reasonable control.
- Governing Law
18.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
18.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
- Complaints

- General
20.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
20.2 If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
20.3 No provision of these Terms shall be enforceable by any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
20.4 We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes.
